This aerial embroidery depicts gentle and lush rolling hills with rich linseed nestled between. This piece was a remake of a previous aerial I did – the initial landscape has brown and green winter fields but something about it was just ‘off’ for me. I reopened it, cut it up and reattach the tree areas to a new hoop and stuffed them to create hills. I then reshaped the fields with a summer palette instead and I’m so much happier with this outcome!
