I wanted to explore another landscape along the lines of my piece titled ‘It gives me a warmth in my heart’ – a strong warm summer feel, winding paths through woodland, and fields with blocks of crops. I wanted a strong distinction between the blocks of smooth ripe linseed being harvested and the rough woodland with the paths so kept the farm area relatively flat. Completed with a busy little tractor!
