This piece certainly took its time, over 50 hours in total to do all those knots and details!! This aerial is depicting castle ruins being reclaimed by the wild. It looks like someone is still caring for them though… I wonder who? The rough grasses and flowers on this aerial were complete using thin thread knots, with the bushes and trees being larger ones. I picked at it over winter and now its complete in time for spring.
Size is 8.5 inches in height and 6 inches wide (not including outer ring); price reflects how long this intricate piece took.
